Returns
Non-plant returns are accepted up to 30 days from the date of purchase and if the item(s) are in the condition that they left the store. The item(s) must be accompanied by a receipt and money will be refunded in the form that it was paid. Cash payment receives cash refund, credit card payments get credit card credits, and so on. Houseplants returns are not accepted due to concern of disease or pest transmission. Outdoor plant returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis and must occur within 3 days of purchase.
Plant Warranty
All plants are carefully selected from the highest quality, premier growers or are produced at our growing facility (“the farm”). We guarantee that our plants are in optimum condition at the point of sale. However, at times, the power of nature can overcome our best efforts. Tangletown Gardens will replace all perished plant material up to the original purchase price, per the following warranty:
Hardy trees, shrubs, and perennials are guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase if planted in the ground.
Annuals are guaranteed for 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
Houseplants and tropicals are guaranteed for 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
The following reasons for plant decline or damage are not included in the warranty: animal damage, snow and ice damage, improper watering, or a late frost.
In order to execute the warranty, the customer must bring in the dead plant or a photo of the dead plant along with his or her receipt in order to have the plant replaced. Replacement plants are not guaranteed.
